Rockfax Description
A great route which has a fierce pull on the crux. Thankfully, this is well protected by modern gear and small wires. Start from directly below the slab, or from a ledge on its left side if the tide is in. Climb to a crack-line. Pull over the first bulge then make a tricky move to a second ledge. The rest is easier and eventually leads into a small groove and an exit rightwards. © Rockfax

βeta: The older guidebooks list this climb as 'sea shanty', with Truant being entirely in the crack to the right. Rockfax appears to have confused matters by combining the lower section of Sea Shanty with the upper section of Truant - creating a hybrid route. Whatever the name, it's a great climb. | βeta? | |
