Rockfax Description
35m. Stupendous climbing. Start as for Groove Armada then make a rising and committing traverse along a crack-line to the arĂȘte. Climb the arĂȘte and back left into the cracks. Finish more easily (as for Groove Armada).

UKC Logbook Description
An essential Scottish classic taking a superb line in an amazing position. Start from a sloping ledge beneath Groove Armada, or a bit lower if tide allows. Move steeply and boldly up and rightwards to the arete, rest a little, and continue up the immaculate easier cracks left of the arete. Take a photographer.

βeta: This is a superb venue and a brilliant route. If it wasn't so improbably remote it'd be deservedly popular, since the conglomerate gives such interesting climbing. The holds and gear are always there just when needed. The start is a little steep and committing and then it's delicate pleasant climbing until it eases off at the top--just as the gear opportunities thin out. The abseil stakes are solid, we gave them all a few more whacks into the ground. | βeta? | |
