Rockfax Description
A daring accomplishment taking on the full line of the flake/groove and upper wall where Borderline moves left.
1) 6c, 21m. Follow Borderline to its first peg then make hard and serious moves up the groove as it bends right to a peg where it becomes a small overlap. Now take the thin wall above the overlap to gain a small ledge and belay.
2) 6b,16m. The poorly-protected groove above leads to a belay on easier ground below the capping overhangs.
3) 4c,16m. Finish with the top pitch of Yellow Slab (p.242) or alternatively Roaring Silence (5c). © Rockfax
