Rockfax Description
A coveted tick that lives up to its billing as one of the better single pitches at the grade in the Lake District. Climb to and up the right-hand shallow groove to below a bulge. Make some thin pulls to pass the bulge, then head up slightly right to better holds and a thin crack. Continue to a ledge and finish direct up a short corner and wall. © Rockfax
UKC Logbook Description
One of the best slab pitches in the Lakes! A fine sustained pitch with reasonable protection. Simply brilliant! Start at the centre of the main slab, just left of Holly Tree Crack.
Climb a short steep slab to a good hold below the right hand break in the overlap. Pull up right onto the slab and then go straight up to a bulge. A hard move over the bulge leads to a good hold. Continue up until moves right lead to a crack. Follow this to a narrow ledge. Pull up into the slight corner via a horizontal crack and climb the wall directly to the top.
