UKC

Rockfax Description
A good old fashioned crack. Start at the base of the first crack just to the right of the central arete. A hard start gradually eases to less steep but still challenging ground. © Rockfax

UKC Logbook Description
The first crack to the right of the rounded arete. Watch the start, as the ground is not the smoothest.

βeta: Loose block under the overhang. Seems pretty well jammed in so probably safe but don’t put gear under it.

βeta: Not as easy as I thought it was going to be. The bottom section is tough! No really foot holds. Felt more severe to me. Didn't really enjoy.

βeta: Bit of a sandbag as the starting moves are the crux and feel quite hard for the grade.

βeta: Be sure to go over holds with 40 grit sandpaper before climbing. Jumped on for a warm up, first half felt pretty desperate for a v diff, nothing positive about many of the holds. Moves and gear improve higher up. Scarred Charlotte from doing many more routes that day.
