Restricted Access

The land agents have expressed concern about the increased use, erosion, and disturbance to heather below the crag. Access is therefore best by following the wall up to the RH end and contouring directly below the crag.

See parking advice.

Seasonal Restrictions

Reason: Nesting Birds

The landowner has been granted a dog restriction on the Open Access land at Jervaulx Moor for grouse breeding. This runs until 27/05/2015 and includes Slipstones and Brown Beck Crags.

8m.

Rockfax Description
8m. Climb the arete to the horizontal break, then trend right to pockets and a stretchy finish. The arete direct is Old Peculiar, also E1 5c but a touch harder than the original. © Rockfax
