Rockfax Description
Sustained and surprisingly pumpy climbing on generally good holds with good gear. The upper wall requires a degree of lateral thinking. Start as for Certain Surprise. Climb the steep cracks of Certain Surprise and, at its second thread, move right to a slight groove. Climb the hold infested wall above past double bolts where more good holds allow a peg on the blank wall out right to be clipped. Step down and execute a precarious sequence right to another duo of bolts. Another stiff pull gains positive holds and a final peg. The top is just above. © Rockfax
UKC Logbook Description
Climb the large crack of Certain Surprise to half height. Take a meandering line up the wall to the right to reach a shallow cave from where a high peg can be clipped. Sit here and contemplate the moves across right before committing to a sequence that will invariably not work as well as you'd hoped.
