An elegant 8m tall free standing boulder with good landings stands on the western slopes of "The Steeple" above the village of Lochgoilhead. The bloc has a slabby West face which will likely offer sub Font grade 6 problems. The steeper East face looks to offer thin crimpy highballs, perhaps in the seventh grade.
A rusty peg in a crack on the slaby face hints at a past ascent.
Approach largely as for The Padlock. 1.5km with 200m of ascent, 30minutes. See diagram in the photos section.
