Rockfax Description
The superb arete on its right with increasing difficulty to the break. A sit-start adds good climbing but no change in grade. © Rockfax

βeta: Whilst climbing at Yew Buttress one of the landowners (who owns the houses below the crag) came up to us to inform us we were climbing on private land… there is a sign just above in the woods but we had walked along the crag and not seen it. It sounds as though they are worried about the possibility of being sued if someone hurts themselves and told us that they had had to get someone airlifted out after they fell off and injured themselves. I took his email and passed on to Jon Fullwood, so hopefully all will be cleared up soon. But maybe best to give this crag a bit of space, or at least be very friendly and respectful if you do go. | βeta? | |
