A crimpy crux bulge to a slight rest. Finish leftwards along undercuts and a flake to a big hold above the final roof
FA. Ben Masterson 1989. The name was a dig at the Yorkshire scene on the late 80s where there seemed to be a few too many 8bs appearing. Reclimbed by Keith Sharples in 2001 after loss of some holds..

βeta: This is now rebolted (thanks mark) the left hand version now goes to the very top of the crag with a hard move to a big left hand flake/bulge over the top. Adds quite a hard move compared to finishing below the bulge. Hard 8a with the extra finish, may even be +? The right hand finish is very good. Again you can clip the belay from below but there is a hard move past the belay to get stood up in undercuts over the lip, don't miss these moves it's the red point crux! May be 8b? | ||
