| Wallsend South - Colors 7b+ *** Went on the second go. Lovely line. So much fun. My first Portland 7b+. We had excellent conditions, which seems rare when climbing down at Wallsend in the morning. It was good because of an Easterly wind apparently. Although the movement varies hugely, the difficulty is consistent from bottom to top, which makes it such a great line. The crux is around the halfway point with those cool, wide, huggy moves. Loved it. Prob 7b max I would say. with Ed Pepper |
