'Alpine Style Climbing' symposium - Sat 2nd March

The Alpine Club has invited some of the world's greatest modern alpinists to talk and lecture at the Alpine Club's 'ALPINE STYLE CLIMBING' SYMPOSIUM.

Lecturers include Voytek Kurtyka on climbing and creativity, Yashushi on his solo of K2, Silvo Karo on Patagonia, Jack Tackle on Alaska, Andy Kirkpatrick on what makes him tick(!), Louise Thomas on Baffin and Simon Richardson on modern Scottish developments.

This all day symposium is supported by Patagonia and Scarpa and features a Ropework demo from Andy Kirkpatrick, après symposium refreshments, bargain retail opportunities.
