Nepal - Travel Warning

The BMC is warning climbers and trekkers to stay out of Nepal after Maoists detonated a bomb just outside Lukla airport on Monday 4 February.

Lukla is the gateway to the Khumbu/Everest region. The effect of the current advice to stay away will strike a devastating blow to the country's economy if it is not lifted by the start of the spring season.
