First summits on Everest in good conditions

So far, a Swiss team and two American teams are among the first to reach the summit of Everest from the south side this morning approx 10a.m. Nepalese time. Climbers include Ellen Miller who is the first North American woman to summit Everest from both the North side (2001) and the South side.

Susan Ershler and her husband Phil, have completed all of the Seven Summits together with their successful ascent. Ang Dorjee Sherpa tops out for the 8th time.
