So much for the grit E8s of the '80s being reduced to trade route status. Following Mike Weeks' plummet off 'Harder, Faster' (E9 6c) last month at Black Rocks, word reaches us of Dan Honeyman (he of 'A film by some climbers' fame) falling from the toe hook move at the top of 'Gaia' (E8). No he didn't hit the floor, but preceded to get back on to climb the route. Perhaps, he'd not been "dancing in a particular way" to the music that Gaia was playing.
