Big summit push on Everest

The first weather window this spring season is here and currently there are 70 to 80 climbers reported to be at camp 4 (c8000m) on the South Col of Everest. No teams on the North side of the mountain are yet in position to try for the summit. Queues are a reality on Everest, getting to the top is about leaving the South Col early and going at a pace which keeps you in front of the pack. A number of Brits are on the mountain, including Kenton Cool, who is leading Jagged Globe's 8th Everest expedition.
