A campaign has been launched to fight plans to build a 50-mile corridor of electricity pylons across the Highlands to help link a proposed wind-farm in the Western Isles to the national grid.
Scottish Hydro-Electric Transmission Ltd. is examining the feasibility of erecting 200 pylons, up to 50 metres high, through the glens from the Ullapool area to Beauly, near Inverness.
