New E8 for Andrew Earl in Northumberland

Andrew Earl has added a desperate direct start to one of his dad's old routes, Endless Flight, at Great Wanney in Northumberland. The original line was climbed by Bob Hutchinson and John Earl in 1978. Andrew's new start involves a hard start to a break then more tricky moves to get threads on the original finish.

Wristcutters goes up the wall to the right and straight up into the short overlapping blind groove. From there it's straight up the middle of the wall on pockets and straight through the roof. Phil.
