The Midi Cable Car, in Chamonix, has been shut again after being opened briefly in early August. It is the lower stage which isn't functioning after the car 'crashed' into the cable car station early in the month.

No date has been made public for the reopening of the cable car. You can walk to reach the higher level and use the upper section, however, due to lack of demand, it isn't running very often.
