Disappointment for Brits in Moscow

Hopes were high after Mark Croxall's fine victory in the first round of the UIAA Bouldering World Cup but the second round has been something of a disappointment. Gaz Parry was the highest placed Brit in 17th place, with Mark Croxall 31st and Andy Earl 35th. The Men's event was won by Jerome Meyer and the Women's event by Sandrine Levet, both from France.
ClimbOnline reports that the event used dual dissimilar qualifying problems which was not popular with all the competitors and could impact on the series rankings.
