David Schmidt at Climbing.com reports that Steph Davis has become the first woman to free El Cap's Salathe Wall (VI 5.13b/c). She had previously done the Freerider (VI 5.12d/5.13a) variation to the Salathe Wall in 2004. Davis had been working the route solo during the summer, then hooked up with a wall neophyte, Cybele Blood, for the bottom to top free ascent.
