BMC to webcast Bouldering World Cup 2006 live

For the first time, live action from the North Face UIAA-ICC Bouldering World Cup at the Ordnance Survey Outdoors Show in Birmingham (17-19 March) will be webcast for free via the British Mountaineering Council website.

If you can't make it down to the NEC to experience the gripping atmosphere first hand, then why not log on to see the competitors battle it out for top spot online? In 2004, 13,000 viewers worldwide watched the World Youth Championships online.

Competition for the Bouldering World Cup 2006 is hotting up, with over 70 boulderers from 17 countries due to take part. Last year the Cup was won by Brit, Mark Croxall (see photo), in front of a capacity audience. Can Mark or another member of the British team keep the British flame alight?
