Chris McNamara Big Waller and BASE jumper

Chris McNamara (age 28) of San Francisco, California is the founder of the guidebook company and website, Supertopo.com. He is also one of the world's most accomplished big wall climbers. Climbing Magazine once computed that three percent of Chris McNamara's life on earth has been spent on the face of El Capitan—an accomplishment that has left friends and family pondering Chris' sanity. He's climbed El Capitan over 70 times and holds nine big wall speed climbing records.

Now Chris, always looking for new challanges, has discovered BASE jumping and being a generous sort is sharing his aerial adventures at his new website basejumpingmovies.com

Recently he attempted the world's biggest BASE jump in the Alps: 2000m of vertical altitude (6560 feet) although he came short and only managed 5000 feet of the flight because," I had a shaky exit and not so great flight. As a result, I had to improvise the landing. " You can watch Chris Mac fly at his You Tube site
