A strong field and great atmosphere made the event very special, with most competitors taking home a prize or two.
A very close qualification saw Ned Feehally flash all 40 problems for a clean sheet, closely followed by Dave Barrans with a slip costing him 3 points. In the ladies, an on-form Naomi Buys qualified in 1st place just ahead of Zoe Ogden.
With qualification being closely matched, the finals were always going to be exciting, and they did not disappoint. The crowd was buzzing, and the finalists all climbed out of their skin. Ned was always going to be hard to beat but Dave came up with the goods to win with an awesome display of power, flashing 2 out of the 3 blocs and succeeding on the last problem 3rd attempt. Naomi continued with her good form and topped out on 2 climbs and came very close to the last one.
