A few weeks ago we ran a story about Leo Houlding, Carlos Suarez and Wang Zhi Ming's ascent of The Number One Precipitous Mountain under Heaven.

Now the video (watch below) has been released. It seems, I hope you agree, that Leo's apprenticeship on some of the wet and vegetated cliffs in the Lake District have served him well for this supreme tree-climbing chimpfest up the sacred mountain of Mount Huashan in the Qinling Mountain Range of Shaanxi Province, Northwest China.

Leo, Sean Leary (USA), Carlos Suarez (Spain) Alastair Lee, Jason Pickles, and Ian Burton are currently on Baffin Island attempting a new route, but warm temperatures experienced there are creating much stone fall hazard. Learn more at The Asgard Project, and in a special report next week.
