Just released on RedbullTV is this exciting video of Chris Sharma and Stefan Glowacz. The American 9b+ power house Sharma has teamed up with German climbing legend Glowacz on a new project.

We don't yet know what this route is all about, but more will be revealed inthe next episode later this week - stay tuned to UKC for more info. Until we find out more, can anyone identify where these two are in the video below? We have a couple of ideas...

Given the name of the clip "Into the Light" and the hint by conorjclarke of Oman, then I reckon it's Majlis al Jinn, which is one of the largest underground chambers in the world. Here's the Wikipedia entry for it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Majlis_al_Jinn Note the shot of "Cheryl's Drop" where the background looks remarkably like that in the clip. The area around the slot isn't too dissimilar either.

Is that the same Majis al Jinn whose access was "...closed since Red Bull staged a base jumping stunt there ... (and allegedly didn't bother to clear up their mess after)". http://www.ukclimbing.com/forums/t.php?t=317959&v=1#x4692990 Beyond ironic if it is.
