Natalie describes herself as, ".. a 22 year old Scousewegian (born in Liverpool but brought up in Glasgow) and currently living in Edinburgh". With over 13 years of climbing experience, Natalie is a former member of the GB Climbing Team, having won multiple British titles and achieving podium places in European Youth events. She has also sport climbed up to 8b and trad climbed up to E4.
Her introduction to the UKC editorial set up will allow us to increase our coverage across the board - more news, more articles and more indepth features. Natalie has also expressed her desire to increase the content of women's climbing coverage on the site and will be writing some women-specific articles using her coaching experience.
Natalie joins an editorial team consisting of Jack Geldard as Chief Editor, Bjorn Pohl as International Editor and Dan Bailey as UKHillwalking editor. Being a small group though we all muck in where needed and Paul Phillips, Rob Greenwood and myself (Alan James) also contribute the occasonal editorial piece.
