Motochika Nagao has made the second ascent of Dai Koyamada's Byaku-dou, ~8C, at Hourai, Japan
Byaku-dou (White road), which has remained unrepeated since Dai put it up in November 2003, consists of two separate problems, Variation, ~8A+, and Bachelorette, ~8A/+, each revolving around one very hard single move.
First you have to negotiate a very difficult undercling move in the roof section, and then a dyno from a mono near the top.
Considering the fact that the problem haven't been repeated, I wouldn't be surprised if these problems are very conservatively graded...
Motochika Nagao has previously repeated Hydrangea and Babel, both ~8C.
