In early November, Jernej Kruder made the long awaited second ascent of Chris Sharma's Es Pontas on the tiny island with the same name just off the coast of Mallorca. Now the video is out.

The music is not to my taste but the video is actually quite good. I enjoyed watching the sequence above the dyno, which Sharma alludes to as being hard (in King Lines) but we never actually get to see it up close in the film. Young Jernej is clearly very strong and motivated. Mind you, on seeing his leery wink to the camera at the start, my first thought was "Chris Sharma this is not".
