Bernd Zangerl has made the first ascent of Into the sun, 8c+ trad, at Murg in Switzerland. It's perhaps not the most traditional of trad climbs really as it's more like a highball up to one piece of gear and then a top out.

One and a half year after his accident where he fell on his back, damaging his fifth and sixth vertebrae, Bernd is finally back climbing hard rock. He says it's like I can start climbing a 2nd time. This line at Murg has been in my mind for many years. it's my new highlight and a combination of highball bouldering and trad climbing.

In fact, he went straight there and began cleaning the line as soon as he got the green light to start climbing again in early April.
