This week's Friday Night Video follows the climbing and family origins of 18-year-old Team USA climber Brooke Raboutou, who qualified for an Olympic quota place in Hachioji, Japan this August. As a new generation of athletes work towards the Olympics, Brooke has one of the strongest competition climbing pedigrees on the circuit: she's the daughter of American 4-time overall Lead World Cup winner Robyn Erbesfield and Didier Raboutou of France, who won the 1989 Arco Rockmaster event and climbed 8c in the early '90s.
Brooke and her brother Shawn have followed in their parents' footsteps, while being coached and guided by them both as part of their ABC Kids climbing training facility in Boulder, Colorado, which they founded together as the kids became more focused on climbing.
Fighting against the bad weather, Brooke found herself with limited time and attempts on both boulders - fortunately she was able to dispatch them with just a single attempt each.
