On February 3rd 2023, near his hometown of Arco, Stefano Ghisolfi established his hardest route to date - Excalibur, 9b+.

Now, almost exactly a year later, The North Face have released the film of the ascent, which follows Stefano as he first encounters the route, decides  - along with Cristian Dorigatti and Morris Fontanari - to make it an open project, and refines his beta alongside some of the world's top climbers, including Adam Ondra, Jakob Schubert, and Will Bosi.

With detailed analysis of each and every move on the route, and close up footage of all of its holds, this film gives an excellent insight into what it takes to establish one of the hardest routes in the world.
