Josh Wharton is the most accomplished alpinist you've never heard of. But while he's been quietly crushing ambitious objectives to little or no fanfare, fatherhood, and warming weather have begun to reshape the world he knew. When Wharton and his climbing partner Vince Anderson attempt to take the 2003 Italian route to the summit of Jirishanca in Peru, they're forced to account for risk as never before.

Liked - it's a super film.

But

It gave me a bit of a Marc-Andre Leclerc shiver - same shyness from the limelight, same composure, same breath-taking skill, same breath-taking risk, same belief that the risk is calculated. For example, 2'28" in there's a hazard that will give me nightmares.

But, yes, lovely guy, lovely film.

I'd love to know how they got down. It feels like the film finished at the half way point!

I didn't notice anything in particular at that time stamp. What are you seeing there?
