Yesterday Shauna Coxsey won gold at the Grindelwald round of the 2014 Bouldering World Cup.

We hope to be in touch with Shauna and fellow GB team member Mina Leslie-Wujastyk soon for a full report on the event, but until then, here's a brief run down of Shauna's win, with video times (check out the action in the IFSC video replay below).

50:45  Shauna tackles final problem one and manages a cool flash of this balancy technical bloc.

1:17:30 Shauna fights on problem two taking a a few falls trying to stick a tough move leftwards, then switches sequence, leaping for the holds and does it next go to the top.

1:43:05  Problem three and another flash, with an awesome dynamic dropdown leftwards on to a large black volume. That is 3 'tops' in seven attempts at this point.

2.13:06 - Shauna falls on the first try at this horizontal problem, leaving her three more attempts to climb the boulder to win... she then falls on her second try, but goes on to complete the problem on her third attempt with a slight tweak of technique, not using the headjam on the traverse rightwards. Shaun grabs the finishing hold with relative ease, and swings, both feet cutting loose, looking to enjoy the moment of winning her first gold medal.

2:29:00 You can watch a short interview with Shauna after the competition.

This result puts Shauna in 1st place after three rounds in this years bouldering worldcup!
