PrestonWall, LancasterWall and KendalWall are facilities of The Lakeland Climbing Centre Limited. We are driven by our passion for climbing and the positive effects it can bring to everyone's lives. Our northern facilities set a high standard for accessible, clean and constantly evolving indoor climbing. In partnership with our customers, staff, sponsors, and suppliers we have created and continue to develop friendly, efficient and safety conscious centres of excellence for roped climbing and bouldering that everyone can enjoy. The company also has seven centres operating in London that are part of our mission to get more people climbing.

Introducing PrestonWall

Originally opened in 1987 by Diana Princess of Wales, the West View Climbing Centre has a rich and elaborate history. With strong roots in youth development having hosted the Youth Climbing Festival, British Youth Climbing Series, Under 14s Preston School Climbing Competition and thousands of schools and community groups over it's 33 year history. Working alongside GLL, the rebranded PrestonWall will bring about a new era of climbing in the Lancashire area, with our focus on making climbing inclusive for all. LCC's investment into the wall will see a brand new 500 sqm bouldering area, brand new lead climbing wall and further refurbishment works to the rest of the centre and equipment to make PrestonWall a safe and vibrant space for all to enjoy.

Duty Manager Vacancies - Preston

2 x Duty Manager   25-30 hours

Climbing Wall Assistant- Preston

3 x P/t Climbing Wall Assistant  20-25 hours

Climbing Wall Assistant - Kendal

1 x F/t or P/t Climbing Wall Assistant  20-40 hours

Each member of the LCC team has a primary site where they work the majority of their shifts. There may be occasional shifts at other sites as required.
