In line with this year's theme for International Women's Day – INSPIRING INCLUSION – Yonder and The North Face are breaking down the barriers to climbing and extending an open invite to our IWD climbing event.

Anyone who's new to Yonder will get free entry so bring your friends, families and neighbours along, really anyone you want! Everyone is welcome at our IWD event as we celebrate the strength, passion and support that binds women with the climbing community together. 

We're super excited to bring you an all-female line up of climbing and outdoor industry superstars, all of whom are passionate about getting as many women as possible into the outdoors. Leading the line is four-time World Paraclimbing Champion Solenne Piret, who will be joined by The North Face Explorer Team members Amira Patel and Xian Goh. 

Solenne will be leading an empowering climb experience that's open to all. A truly remarkable climber, she's building towards the Paralympic Games in her home city of Paris, where climbing makes its debut. Born without her right forearm, Solenne's journey exemplifies resilience and determination in the climbing sphere. She'll share her inspiring journey and offer practical strategies for overcoming mental and physical obstacles while daring to dream big. 

Fresh from her recent Ted Talk, The North Face Explorer and founder of the Wanderlust Women Amira Patel will be premiering her new film Belonging, as well as hosting a masterclass in meditation and mindfulness. 

Meanwhile, Xian's will be bringing her coaching expertise to bear. Well known to climbers on the London scene, Xian combines extensive climbing knowledge with a psychology and pilates background that allows her to look holistically at mind, body and technique. We are so lucky to have her leading the most impressive board climbing session you'll ever have!

Starting at 3pm, the event will see Yonder, supported by The North Face, in full swing. Every attendee will receive a The North Face branded gift along with a chance to meet and climb alongside Solenne, Amira, and Xian!
