MoonBoard will soon be celebrating its 15th birthday. From humble origins at the School Room in Sheffield, the MoonBoard has arguably become one of the world's most popular indoor training systems, with over 70,000 active users this year alone.
This autumn, MoonBoard will be hosting its second ever climbing competition. Originally debuted in 2017, the MoonBoard Masters has been revamped for its much anticipated return on September 16th. Now open to all MoonBoard climbers, the new Masters will see competitors battle it out over three rounds for a chance to bag the £2,000 grand prize.
Entry to the Open Qualifier round will be open between 16th September until midnight 30th September. You can register for the Open Qualifiers using the free MoonBoard app, and climb the competition problems on any 40-degree MoonBoard with the 2017 hold setup. The top five male and female climbers from the Open Qualifier will be invited to attend one of the Semi Final events which are to be hosted at a number of gyms across the UK.
Visit the official MoonBoard Masters website for further information about the competition, including key dates, rules and Semi Final locations.
