Frozen turf and significant riming above 1000m, snow melting below 800m but pleasant above that level. It's all gone now though!

It was just after 9am. The sun hadn't been up for very long and was shining through veils of mist. A gorgeous morning!

Well done for getting up there so early! I know getting out of bed in the dark is the best recipe for great pictures but don't often manage it...
