That's beautiful! That's what the Cobbler looked like in the good ole' days (my personal good ole' days being the the early-mid 90s!). :-)

there was ski marks just to the left of the path from the day before (or where it should) and as posted on another thread I had admit defeat just below the north peak due to too much snow, it had taken me an hour and 45mins to get from the shelter stone

You could say there is such a thing as too much unconsolidated snow for walking, but I'm still not convinced there is such a thing as too much snow in general. As David mentions, it looks excellent for skiing. :-) Nice photo.

Yes you are right Mehmet as a snowboarder there never is too much snow and yesterdays conditions would have been superb to ride down the back of Ben ime
