Ronnie Smith after sitting belaying at the top of Lochain facing into a northerly. Yes he's still alive.

Great pic George. What winter is all about!
Alan Buchan - 17/Dec/08
Looks a bit under-dressed maybe...

Sitting down for a 5 minute break, proved to be counter-productive...

Hood? Balaclava? Goggles?
Phil Sneyd - 18/Dec/08
Bit proscriptive guys; head protection all comes into the personal choice category. A bit of ice in the face isnt going to shut down your circulation. The mournful expression is quite funny tho..

What's those axes doing in the clouds?
Stu Tyrrell - 19/Dec/08
Axes!? You see axes!? It's a sign :) Ronnie is blessed! All hail!

Great shot. Just what mates are for. I particularly like the icefall buiding up under his nose

That photo goes well with the punchline 'Looks like you've blown a seal.'
Randy Baird - 22/Dec/08
Brilliant.
Jack Geldard - 23/Dec/08
What grade does that ice go at under his nose?
Sunchaser - 29/Dec/08
