Are you leaning back on a runner?!
Ropeboy - 10/Jul/09
Yep he is!
And it's totally bombproof apparently!

I must have done it countless times and never placed a runner there. There's been so much debate over this 'placement' it's interesting to see someone actually resting on it, would it take a fall though? ;-)

I placed a HB no. 3.8 quadcam in that pocket. Looked ok-ish to me but I wasn't gonna hang around on it just in case. I remember thinking the placemement may not suit other cams though.

Resting on routes with sparse runners is perhaps a bigger call than he realises. I'd solo it till the end of time before I did that on that route, as you can stand in balance anyway!
Jonny2vests - 20/Apr/10
lol yeah he was just testing his placement!
we give it HS 4b...if you own the right size ball-nut!!
BeccaSnowden - 20/Apr/10
Did this again today, and looked at that 'gear' placement. He's lucky he isn't eating through a straw.
Jonny2vests - 16/May/10
no he isn't, I proper wrenched at it before I rested on it an it took like 10 mins to get out its a number 2 ball nut (or slider what ever you want to call it) and it goes in to the little slot at the back really well.
