Amistad con el diablo is on El Naranjo is it not? This is the top of the Regular NW Face route. Lovely image though, I was there a few weeks ago myself.

A poor scan from a slide I presume? The actual composition is excellent, but let down by the poor quality of the finished image. With a little help in an image editor I am sure this can be improved.

This is indeed a scanned in slide which was knocking around on my hard drive and posted in good faith for its compositional qualities. I am not a photographer nor am I concerned with the technical aspects of photography. I had no idea this I was entering a photo competition. I have no intention of editing this image in any way.

Re comment about improving photo. This image is indeed a scanned slide which has been knocking around on my hard drive for years. It was effectively a holiday snap. I submitted it in good faith and for its compositional qualities. I am not a photographer, nor even interested in the technical aspects of photography. Neither was I aware I was entering a photo competion. Ergo, I don't intend tweaking it.

Re is this really Amistad? Yes, you are of course correct. I had already submitted a photo of that route and, using this submission as a template, had not edited out the route name from the particulars of this yosemite shot. Since corrected.
