Wow, that looks pretty banked out! What was the gear like? Did you find the pegs?

Can see why you're seeing 'banked out', but photo's deceptive and it was basically just covered in a layer of snow ice, with some more brittle water ice in places (two marginal screws for protection) and no pegs or other gear placements in sight.
