The red rope looks odd. Is it photoshopped in?
aln - 26/Jul/10
Why would you photoshop in a bloody annoying red line across an otherwise decent photo?
Jamie B - 26/Jul/10
It just looks disproportionally large compared to the blue rope. Great picture otherwise. A trip to Flimston I think.
Lusk - 27/Jul/10
No idea Jamie, it just looks weird.
aln - 27/Jul/10
Yeah, the perspective is weird isn't it? I think we might be getting a bit paranoid about Photoshopping though....!

He's using the new 2.5mm Beal Nanorope. It uses nanotubes technology, which NASA want to use to build equatorial space elevators as first postulated by Arthur C Clarke. Steve works for NASA.
Photoshop I ask you, have you ever heard anything so ridiculous?
Jonny2vests - 27/Jul/10
The hanging belay is obviously hanging from the top!
digby - 22/Feb/11
Digby - yeah, not so much a hanging belay as a fixed line I was kind of mooching around on as Steve was learning the ropes (lol - I kill me). His wife was doing the belaying in the normal fashion.
