Looks like fantastic rock and a good line. Roasting in the sun?

Yeah, the rock is great in this part of the valley - any further up though and it becomes less fine grained and much harsher on the skin! This boulder (and others nearby) all face north so climbing was possible during most of the day. If you're keen for early starts, it was actually pretty cold between about 7am and 10am before the sunlight hits the valley.. Nice area but I thought Magic Wood was much better...

Forgot to mention, the problem starts on a kinda slopey heel hook ramp round the corner - there is a really nice looking extension at 7c...
