Pre-placed quickdraws, though? And what's he ever done on Grit?
PeteH - 08/Nov/10Report
Made me smile, as did PeteH's comment.
A well deserved five.

You should be ashamed. -Thought i'd get in there first. Bon effort getting him to lead rather than top rope and repect to the weee geezer. How long till you send him off up Edge Lane?

Is it just me or does the belayer look like they are 90 degrees to the rock?
If you rotate the photo through 90 degrees, it does give the impression that the young lad is crawling on the floor...?
Not saying that he is, but certainly gives that impression when turned through 90 degrees.
Makes for an interesting dicussion...

The angle of the trees is also suspect, is it on the flat or not?
davegs - 14/Nov/10Report
The belayer is standing with their foot resting on the wall and i it looks as if the ground falls away (as it often does at the base of a crag). I think this just makes a slabby route look more slabby!
tom vellacott - 15/Nov/10Report
favourite climbing photo ever
andymcbill - 15/Nov/10Report
It's an established F3+. Hardly flat for a young lad, or anyone for that matter.
Great shot *thumbs up*

Go for it kid!!!

Gives me hope for the future. Perhaps the crags won't be deserted in 10 years. (OK I know its in France but I can dream)
perranman - 26/Nov/10Report
Appropriate route name!
