Ergh, where is the snow? Ice? Hoar? Why have you got winter climbing gear on? Think you need to get a copy of classic rock....

Conditions were fine. Lots of snow on ledges, frozen turf, verglass in lots of cracks. Freezing levels were down to sea level the day we climbed this as was the snowline.

Damn right, I remember the hot aches at the belays, -10 ambient temperature as I recall and turf was iron hard. Access roads only just fitted that description with all the snow around. Does look peculiarly bare in this image, but it was definitely in nick.
And relax folks it isn't a classic rock route, or even a summer crag!
