Yesterday, on a slightly suspect forecast via the north east slope but turned into a perfect day with just the odd snow flurry.
Descended via the same slope, can almost see why people ski it now, it goes on for ever in descent.

Ascent via North East route from Refuge Argentiere, descent by normal route to Couvercle, arrived at Montenvers to catch the last train to Chamonix with 5 minutes to spare!
