Nice topo guys.
We climbed the lines on the 'Highball wall' in about '99, although there was a tree right up against the wall, obscuring one line. Have you removed that tree? There's also a desperate roof to the south overlooking Church Ope where a bad landing means a tumble onto the beach, not sure it ever went though.
Great to see someone writing these areas up.

Hi Ben, we cleared the wall in Nov. 2007 - some of the Ivy trunks were four inch thick(shows you how ivy grows) but I don't recall a tree against the wall. A massive loose flake about 3 metres tall came down off the right side of the wall (scary), thankfully revealing a wall of excellent rock underneath. Mick Ward climbed the roof above the beach many years ago, in fact I think he called the route "above the beach". Thanks for the comments Ben. John.

Hi Ben, how's it going? Loads of stuff for mileage for you. 'Above The Beach' took the easy left arete of the sticky out boulder above Church Ope. Obviously done before. You're a long, long way above the beach!

Funny - looks like this has been discovered on a number of occasions!
I cleared some ivy and bushes back in 2002(ish) and climbed 3 lines on the righthand side. It's about time someone has done the right thing and written it up.

I would have been amazed if such an obvious crag hadn't been discovered(several times)before, particularly with the effort the original crew put into the boulderfield. I'm equally suprised nobody wrote it up considering its quality, hopefully now it shouldn't get overgrown again. The question is - who moved the tree?

Yes a good little crag. Tell you the truth, I don't remember the tree. Surely there would have been a stump remaining if one had been cut down.
As for writing it up, there are a number of good problems done 1999-2006 that missed the cut in various guides for various reasons. I hope to get the time to rectify that this year...but you know how things go.
