Really like this shot - the lighting is great, there's something 'other worldly' about it. Also interesting to see someone on this route, I've been to A'starry loads of times but never seen anyone on it. Cheers. F

Thanks for the comment Fraser. This shot turned out really well. The camera was a £50 compact with Velvia film which really brought out the colour of the rock and a misty effect on the lake. Still wouldn't want to swim in it though!

Wow - from a cheapie camera too, that's amazing! A non-climbing friend of mine, local to Kilsyth, has jumped in from the top (allegedly) but there's no way I'd want to go in there, especially from height. How was the route itself - did you try it?
